If your soil doesn’t have the proper nutrients, the right amount of moisture, the right texture, and the right drainage, your tree may not survive. You can add nutrients to your soil and take care of the other issues, if you are aware of them before you plant your tree. It is a good idea to have your soil analyzed before planting, so you don’t risk harming your fruit tree. This way you will know exactly what modifications need to be made to give your tree the best possible start.
